The Team came in 3rd place today at the Ed Arima Duals in Sumner, WA and had a good Fresh/Novice match at Century. Nice Job Cats

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED (Friday/Saturday) – Thanks to those who have already signed up but still have a lot of slots to fill, especially on Saturday afternoon/evening. This is our main fundraiser and need all families to get involved helping concessions/admissions/hospitality. December 8-9 – Rose City Championship – Mark your calendar – The tourney we host is our only fundraising We expect all families to get involved in helping at either the concessions stand or other opportunities. Friday, December 8th, and Saturday, December 9th, Westview is hosting the Rose City Championship tournament. This tournament is an individual bracketed tournament for each weight class. With overall team scores kept as well. This tournament will include JV and Varsity Wrestlers competing this weekend as each school can enter two wrestlers per weight class. All other wrestlers are expected to be at the tourney to assist and work at various stations. Wrestling will start at 1:00 pm on Friday and 9:00 am on Saturday. The tourney continues to grow, now up to thirty-two teams this year from Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Colorado. There will be some excellent competition including a number of returning state champions! More information on the tournament can be found on the Rose City Website Link. Volunteering also gets you in the doors free for the tournament the day you volunteer!

Tournament Set Up Thursday Night starting at 5:00 pm all wrestlers will need to work on setting up for the Rose City. This is a huge set up that requires all wrestlers to help out, with moving and rolling out mats, setting up scores tables, etc.
